Search Queries
A name or date of birth entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Messages sent by email are kept as needed to respond. They remain within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers automatically receive basic technical visit data:
- The IP address assigned to your device

- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view

No Warrant Data on File
No warrant database or personal warrant-record collection is hosted, maintained, compiled, or sold here. The site provides general routing information for Geneva County court records, the Geneva County Circuit Clerk, municipal courts, and the Geneva County Sheriff. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is never assembled into consumer reports or files about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention rules, and sharing practices govern information submitted to them. Review the applicable partner policy before entering a query because we do not control those practices.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to court portals, sheriff resources, legal-aid organizations, state systems, or outside search services. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal information.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards protect information we collect. No internet system is completely secure, however, so a breach-free service cannot be guaranteed.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be deleted when requested.
Your Data Rights
Rights may also arise under applicable Alabama privacy and consumer-protection law. The Alabama Public Records Act, Code of Alabama §36-12-40 et seq., governs access to public agency records and does not turn this private site into a records custodian. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
